How do I know this isn't a trap?

The boys suggested I put up a Haiti Relief Effort page, so here it is: http://www.mercycorps.org/fundraising/rocketsledd

Thanks for making Friday Dec 18th the busiest day for the Bighouse since it’s construction. A whopping 62 views! I hope the server can handle the traffic! Hardy har har.
All previously mentioned glitchiness, and then some, got rectified this weekend. I got a bit tired of trying to actually fix the problem and just did a clean install. Despite the brute-force tactic, I’m feeling quite smart for managing to keep all of your user information intact! It’s the little things that make me happy.
The new theme, ComicPress, is in place and, along with a few new plug-ins (some of which also created by the ComicPress folk), is working just smashingly! In addition to the features I mentioned in the last post, you can also now navigate the comics using your arrow keys. Left and Right arrow keys page you through the episodes. Shift + Left or Right arrow keys send you to the beginning or end of the strip. Again, it’s the little things.
Until next time, toodles.
The bad news is there’s an issue with lifeinthebighouse.com. Many would never see the problem, but it exists, and it bothers me. What is it, you might ask? Well, it’s the fact that you can get to this site by using http://www.lifeinthebighouse.com but you cannot get here by leaving out the “www.” I know. It’s freaky. I have been unable to find a quick fix so I will be attempting a fresh install sometime soon. Probably this weekend.
That’s the bad news.
The good news, however, comes two-fold! Part one of the good news is there is indeed a new Life in the Bighouse. I’ll be posting it soon. The other good news is I’ve found a new wordpress theme that was designed for comic delivery. I haven’t played with it much but so far it looks like a very nice theme with several grand features for comics. One of which being a bookmark feature that allows you to “tag” where you are when you’re done reading, and then, when you come back, it’ll send you to where you left off. Not a very useful feature for LitB (yet), but a feature I’ve wanted with several of the webcomics I’ve read. We’ll see if the boys approve of the new features.
So that’s that for now. A new Life in the Bighouse will be available shortly.
Thanks for reading.
Recording went relatively well—finally.
Monday started off smoothly but quickly went to pot. As you may recall from my earlier post, there was an argument over seating arrangements. That argument quickly turned into an energetic furball (yes, literally). The engineer, Disco Mouse, is a devout atheist (a fact that *should* have been brought to my attention as a peacekeeping measure) and apparently, in a fit of frustration, made some snide comment to Grim. Loomis—much to Disco’s surprise, I’d wager—rolled Disco for “missing the point” and “being just as guilty.”
Tuesday was a total wash. I thought it best to have a “chill day” to let everyone’s tempers settle a bit.
Today went very very well. Disco was a complete professional and L & G remained quite civil the entire time. All in all, apart from a few sizable bald spots, some minor flesh wounds, and a couple of knocked over microphone stands, no damage was done; and we have a product to show for our efforts! All three are are so happy with it, there is already talk of a video. We’ll see how that goes. They may lose interest. One can hope.
In the meantime, take a listen and let us know what you think: Let it Go!
