In the event you haven’t sorted this out already, Life in the Bighouse is little more than a cathartic novelty strip. It exists mainly to provide an outlet for my frustrations about the world we live in and life in general. Voicing my irritations via poorly-drawn cartoon animals makes those irritations much less, well, irritating.

With that said, it does serve a more functional purpose. I intend, road-to-hell-wise, to begin delivering a more serious comic effort in 2010—and LitB is proving to be an excellent testing ground for the e-logistics involved in such a project.

If you happen to like LitB, I offer my condolences for your poor taste, as well as my promise that it won’t be going away. I don’t see my political and societal irritations disappearing anytime soon but be forewarned, however, that I make no guarantees regarding delivery times. I am currently trying to deliver a minimum of one episode per week and hope to stick to that for some time. If you are interested in staying updated, you may want to register with the site or check into one of the options in the “Stay Connected” column. I will try not to disappear for eight months straight as I did shortly after starting the strip, but in case I do, sign up and you’ll be the first to know of any new developments.

OK. That’s that. Enjoy the strip.
